We now have faces to go with the names of two of Katniss's allies in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.
Via the two-part movie's official Facebook page, the producers announced that Michelle Forbes will play Lt. Jackson while Eugenie Bondurant will play Tigris.
Michelle, 49, is an actress you'll undoubtedly recognize from TV thanks to recurring roles on 24, Battlestar Galactica, Prison Break, In Treatment, The Killing, Chicago Fire, and Orphan Black. But Wetpaint Entertainment readers might know her best as the maenad Maryann Forrester in True Blood's second season.
Her character, Lt. Jackson, is a District 13 sharpshooter who teams up with Katniss, Finnick, and Gale — and who helps Peeta recover his memory after he's tortured.
Eugenie, meanwhile, has a smaller and more eclectic filmography. The 53-year-old has appeared in Fight Club, Frasier, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and something called Sorority House Vampires, which just sounds fun.
Her character, Tigris, is a former Hunger Games stylist who altered her appearance to resemble a tiger. Loyal to the rebellion, she helps Katniss and the surviving members of Squad 451 by making them look like Capitol citizens. Eugenie has wide cheekbones and a strong jawline, so we can totally imagine her getting all tiger-fied!
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 hits theaters on November 21 of this year; with Part 2 concluding the series on November 20, 2015.
