Before Ariel Winter joined the cast of Modern Family, she appeared in many TV shows and movies. We've got the full roundup here!

Ariel got her start in 2005 with a bit part in the TV sports comedy series Listen Up. That same year Ariel appeared in the Robert Downey Jr. film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and the TV shows Tickle U and Freddie. In 2006, Ariel landed her first recurring role as Little Tori in the VH1 Tori Spelling comedy So noTORIous. She also landed guest roles on primetime hits Bones, Nip/Tuck, and Jericho.

In 2008, Ariel appeared as Young Trixie in the Wachowski brothers film Speed Racer, Ellie Layton in the horror film One Missed Call, and in a guest role on The Ghost Whisperer. The following year proved to be Ariel’s busiest one yet: She had voice acting roles in the video game Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and the TV series The Penguins of Madagascar. She also played Lucy Moore in the final episodes of ER and appeared in the films Life is Hot in Cracktown, Duress, and Opposite Day.

Oh, and she also joined the cast of Modern Family as Alex Dunphy. NBD.
