Momma Dee Sings “I Deserve” and Other R&B Hits at Single Release Party (VIDEO)

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta fans were in for a special treat when the Queen of the palace, Momma Dee, debuted her new single, “I Deserve,” during the Season 3 finale. The former madame is definitely looking to make music her newest passion and gave fans a sample of her musical stylings during her single release party this past week.

The no-nonsense mama took the stage for a live performance at Club Sutra in Atlanta, Georgia with a band, and backup singers for a full 20-minute set.

Starting off the night on a high note, Momma Dee performed a rendition of the ever-funky tune, “Before I Let Go” by Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, before jumping into a soothing version of Anita Baker’s “I Apologize”. Next, Momma Dee performed “Where Will You Go?” and after a bit of a timing setback, finally gave fans a listen to her track, “I Deserve”.

At the end of the show, Momma Dee introduced the audience to her musical team and even gave a shoutout to son Lil Scrappy and his gal pal, Bambi.

Looks to us like Momma Dee is learning from her son and definitely isn’t turning back!

The music video for “I Deserve” is set to drop sometime in the coming days, so stay tuned.
