A father in Florida dropped just $300 to rent an entire movie theater and bring on the big screen for his son Jonah’s 13th birthday party. The hefty price of admission allowed the group to play video games to their heart’s content for five hours. Bonus: unlimited pizza, popcorn, and soda!

Jonah has Type 1 Diabetes, which means the little lad has been stricken with health concerns since day one, but despite his own struggles, he still manages to find time to give back to the community. Daily of the Day explains that Jonah actually does fundraising events for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and The Walk To Cure Diabetes. Now that’s one proactive little dude!

For several hours, the whole of the SunRay Cinema in the Historic Riverside District of Jacksonville, Florida, was theirs to play everything from Fallout 3 to Skyrim, as well as Minecraft, Terraria, Halo (10th Anniversary Edition), Call Of Duty: Black Ops II, Crysis 2, and Portal. They even started up Dead Space 2, but we’re guessing things got a bit too… real.

This was such a fantastic present to give the boy who works to put others before himself. We gotta admit that while it initially sounded kinda extreme, $300 for an entire theater is totally doable! We are so jelly.
