When George and Kathleen Williams pulled up to their home after a shopping trip yesterday, they had a surprise visitor: The neighbor’s pickup truck was sticking out of the wall of their home.

George Williams told 11 Alive that it was "A little red pickup truck from across the street. And it was driven by a 2 year old.”

Police say George’s neighbor was unloading something out of the back of his vehicle’s cab while his 2-year-old son was sitting inside of it.

Gwinnett County Police officer Jake Smith told 11 Alive, "Just accidentally, the child was able to put the car in gear and it rolled down at a fairly slow speed across the street.”

The pickup was moving fast enough to go through an outside wall and two windows, into the Williams' basement. Williams said the truck also broke a gas line and a water line.

George and Kathleen Williams have lived in their home for almost 40 years and have never experienced anything like this. No surprise there! "I just wanted to make sure everybody was alright," he said. Thankfully, the 2-year-old boy was not injured.

And how do George and Kathleen feel about their neighbors now? There’s no hard feelings. George says, "They didn't mean to do it. So it doesn't make any difference. Nobody was hurt and like I said, things can be fixed, people can't."

Talk about being neighborly!
