Police are crediting the actions of one quick-thinking older brother for keeping his two siblings in Sanford, Florida, unharmed. On Wednesday morning, three children — ages 15, 13, and 6 — were home alone when their house was broken into.

As thieves entered the home by smashing a sliding glass door, the older brother encouraged his siblings to hide in a closet with him, according to police. The brave boy was able to call 911 from the closet. Police arrived at the home and took one of the burglars into custody. The other two fled the scene by escaping into some nearby woods. The two others were arrested later arrested with the help of a K-9 unit and a sheriff's helicopter.

Thankfully, none of the children were injured in the incident. For that, they can thank their big bro!
