The time has finally come!

Pregnant Kate Middleton has checked into the hospital to have the royal baby.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour," the palace said in a statement via the Clarence House Twitter account. "The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge."

Once the baby arrives, the birth notice will be transported from the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital to Buckingham Palace by Ed Perkins, the Press Secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The palace will post the birth announcement on a wooden easel in the Buckingham Palace courtyard, and then the happy news will be posted to Twitter. The future king or queen's time of birth, weight, and gender will be announced. It is unknown whether Kate and William will be having a boy or a girl, but one thing is clear: This little one will be third in line to the British throne. As for the little one's name, it's anyone's guess, however that hasn't stopped betting sites from placing odds. Which of these royal baby names do you think will be the winner?
