Prince Charles recently talked about the adorable nickname he'll be calling Kate Middleton and Prince William's newborn son George — it's Georgie! — and now the new grandpa is revealing what little Georgie will call him.
At the Sandringham Flower Show, the Prince of Wales told some people in the crowd that he would like to be called “grandpa” by Prince Georgie, instead of “granddad,” a moniker he doesn’t care for. The proud grandfather also joked with the crowd, saying, "I think I'm going to have to go on a babysitting course as it's a while since I have done this sort of thing."
He seems to be embracing his grandparent duties already — the Palace tweeted this shot of him getting a tiny, little shirt for Prince George while he was conducting his royal duties in Whitstable.
When someone asked Charles’ wife Camilla, who accompanied him to the flower show, what she’ll be called by the royal baby, she said that the family ‘hadn’t decided for certain,' but the Duchess of Cornwall told the Daily Mail that ‘GaGa’ is what her own grandchildren call her. “I don’t know if it’s because they think I am, but it is still very sweet,” Camilla said.
