Being a prince apparently doesn't mean you are immune from the sleepless nights that all new parents experience. As Prince William revealed to the crowd at a farming and country show in Wales on Wednesday, there have been a “few sleepless nights” keeping him and wife Kate Middleton up with the royal baby, but the “new addition [is] sleeping much better now.”
Proving that he is as good at charming the public as his mother was, William joked, "I have to say that I thought Search and Rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a 3 week-old baby is up there!"
The prince doled out a few more details about sweet baby George, saying he is “pretty loud” but “lovely” and “very good looking” as well.
The speech was a bit of a goodbye, as William wraps up his Search and Rescue tour of duty in Anglesey next month.
He bid adieu with pure and utter eloquence, saying, "From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my wife and me so welcome when we arrived here, as you do thousands of visitors each year."
