On Tina Fey’s latest visit to the Late Show With David Letterman, she took the opportunity to open up about how, with the wrap of her show 30 Rock, she’s been able to spend more time at home with her two daughters. But while 8-year-old Alice has been a normal little girl, as far as Tina can tell, her 2-year-old daughter Penelope “might be a sociopath.”
Tina reveals that her littlest girl is constantly doing bad stuff, like strangling the family dog and touching the stove, showing little to no remorse for her actions. “She got real mad that I took her out of the bath,” Tina says, explaining one of her most recent episodes, “and she looked me square in the eyes, and with two tiny little hands, choked me… And it’s so funny because they’re not strong enough to kill you.”
Penelope also apparently likes to stick things in her mouth, like the time she stuck a glass paperweight in her mouth and tried to hide it, or another time when she tried to ingest a live hermit crab.
We miss Tina, and we’re excited to know that although she’s been spending more time at home, she’ll be getting back to work soon. She recently announced a college-themed comedy for Fox, and it’s reported that she’s also sold another sitcom to NBC, this one with more of a Cheers-like theme.
Sadly, the hilarious mom won’t be starring in either comedy, but we will get to see more of Tina soon — she’s nominated for eight Emmy awards this September.
