One of our favorite moments of every episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show is Ellen’s signature dancing. She gets jiggy with it up the stairs and into the audience and boogies with a full row of crazed Ellen fanatics before making her way back down to her set. She then shimmies up to her coffee table, straddle dances over it to crazed claps and jeers, and then plops down in her big arm chair to start the show.
On one of the latest episodes, Ellen not only dances, but she adds a singing number to her show. We love her, but Ellen shouldn’t go on tour just yet. Regardless, the 55-year-old packs a vocal punch when it comes to belting out all the sounds the fox makes to the lyrics of (duh) “The Fox.”
We admit that while this song was super annoying to us at first, it’s grown on us. We actually love how simple it is and how it’s not only loved in its viral capacity by adults, but it could also be used as a teaching tool for little kids learning the sounds animals make. The video isn’t half bad either, featuring the ridiculous Norwegian bandmates in animal costumes.
Have a listen and get ready to fall in love with this song all over again!
