We’ve heard of kids born with full heads of hair, long fingernails, and even tails — that last one may just be an internet rumor — but a mother in the U.K. got quite a surprise recently when she found out that her daughter was born with two fully formed front teeth.
Newspoint reports that the nurses and midwives assisting in Vickie Griffith’s birth were surprised when little Eva Griffiths, an otherwise healthy 7 pound, 4 ounce baby girl, had two front teeth. It was Vickie’s husband, Steven, who actually spotted the chompers while he was giving his newborn daughter a bath. Vickie said, "When I came back into the room Steven said, ‘She's got teeth, you know!’ And then we both burst out laughing."
That’s one way of looking at it! Vickie had planned on breastfeeding her daughter up until her birth, but when she saw little Eva’s teeth, she changed her mind. The 26-year-old knows a lot about children as a professional childcare provider, but even she wasn’t up to the task of getting bitten by a toothy baby, who might be forming more teeth right now. Vickie says that Eva will be a bottle baby.
