Claire Danes looked radiant last night as she gracefully accepted her Emmy for Best Lead Actress In a Drama for the second year in a row for her amazing work on Homeland. The mother to 10-month-old baby Cyrus wore a shimmering Atelier Versace silver gown and displayed an amazing, if somewhat controversial, hair transformation.

As she was questioned by reporters after the ceremony, the 34-year-old actress and wife to actor Hugh Dancy seemed to be in a giddy mood. When asked whether she would be able to go out and celebrate her Emmy win with an infant son at home, the blonde beauty joked, “I just hope he is not going impale himself on this [statue].”

Babies that age do like to play with sharp objects, especially when they’re not supposed to. Hopefully Claire can get a shelf built for all of her shiny statuettes, because if Homeland continues on it’s award-winning run, she’ll probably need to make room for more!
