According to the FDA, W.S. Badger Company is voluntarily recalling select batches of Daily SPF 30 Kids & Baby sunscreen lotions. The recall applies specifically to all bottles of Badger's 4-ounce SPF 30 Baby Sunscreen Lotion and one group of Badger 4-ounce SPF 30 Kids' Sunscreen Lotion.

Customers should refer to the FDA press release for specific lot numbers.

The sunscreen was sold in the U.S. and Canada online and at major retailers as well as at pharmacies and food co-ops.

The reason for the recall is a possible risk of infection due to microbial contamination. The products were tested and found to be contaminated with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida parapsilosis and Acremonium fungi.

Consumers are urged to return the product where it was originally purchased for a full refund, or to contact Badger directly via phone at 1-800-603-6100 or email recalls@badgerbalm.com between the hours of 8:30-4:30 ET, Monday through Friday.
