There’s nothing better than fantasizing about a big, strong, muscular man like Channing Tatum with his shirt off, maybe fixing something, or just driving a big ol’ pickup truck in nothing but some baggy overalls and unlaced work boots. There really is nothing better unless you’re fantasizing about him holding a baby! Maybe it’s just the maternal instincts that kick in, but a scene like that just seems so right, and if you only knew what we know about Channing Tatum and his baby daughter Everly’s relationship, your heart would explode.
OK fine, we’ll tell you.
According to E! Online, Channing beatboxes to his baby girl to get her to settle down when she’s crying or upset. Yep, Channing’s Witches of East End wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum told Ellen DeGeneres recently on her show, “All of a sudden, he starts beatboxing and she starts cooing. I'm like, what? I have been rocking her. I have been swaying her. I've been doing squats and he gets here and he [beatboxes]."
Does this not just melt every bone in your body? Could you even imagine Magic Mike busting little beatboxing beats over a bassinette? Alliteration aside, Jenna reveals that not only is Channing good at calming a crying baby, he’s also a master diaper changer.
"It's like the one thing he knows he can do," Jenna says. "He's like, 'Let me get in there. Let me change those diapers.' Here you go!"
This man. He’s like Hercules but with a soft, gentle side. In fact, Jenna says, "It's funny — he's so sensitive. He's like this really strong big guy in life, but you give him this little baby and he's like, 'Oh my god, is she going to drop? Am I doing everything ok?'"
Channing, you’re perfect.
