It’s no secret, we love dogs here at Wetpaint Moms. Whether they’re jumping like lunatics into a pile of leaves, or just playing with the other puppies in a pumpkin patch, it’s their lovable, goofy charm that keeps us coming back for more. As we’ve shown in countless homecoming videos, there’s definitely a reason why we refer to these loyal animals as ‘man’s best friend.’
That’s why we were thrilled to find this Reddit user, who goes by the user name Nekofrog, and were thrilled that he chose to share this delightful photo. Nekofrog explains that this shot is from when he was deployed with the U.S. military in 2011.It’s the very first time his pooch is seeing his master’s face on Skype, and boy, is he surprised!
The look on this patient hound’s face is truly worth a thousand words. The happy canine seems to be expressing utter disbelief, true amazement, and the utmost glee simultaneously after seeing his owner alive and well. Hopefully Nekofrog is now home, safe and sound. We bet that was one emotional homecoming that really got Fido’s tail wagging!
