Cory Monteith may be gone, but his memory isn’t. And to make sure people never forget the impact he had on the homeless teens he worked with, Virgin Unite has put out a video memorializing the difference Cory made in the lives of homeless youth as an ambassador in their program.

In the video, we see videos of Cory speaking at different events, posing with a $100,000 check that he helped raise for the Virgin Unite organization, and we even hear from one of the teens he worked with.

“I’m sure he’s got a nice house, lots of money, and friends, and he came here, to see how we live and how we survive,” she said. “And if he can come here and be on our level, I’m sure we could be on our level and aspire to what we want to do and make our dreams come true.”

We miss Cory, but it’s comforting to know that he was able to help so many people while he was alive — and that he’ll never be forgotten.

“As an ambassador for Virgin Unite, Cory Monteith was an outspoken supporter of the fight against youth homelessness and his dedication and advocacy helped raise more than $200,000 for at-risk youth programs in Canada through RE*Generation,” the caption on the video says. “The above film has been created in memory of Cory and the difference he made.”

Earlier this week, it was announced that Canda’s Eva Awards For Ending Youth Homelessness will be given in Cory’s honor. Remembering him by the way he made the world a better place? Sounds good to us.
