The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of over 8,000 Baby Jogger City Versa strollers after several reports of the stroller frames failing to lock, then collapsing during use.

The recall only affects strollers manufactured between May 15 and August 20, 2012, and you can find the date of manufacture on on the stroller’s black plastic side hinge below “Baby Jogger” and “City Versa.”

Consumers are instructed to stop using the affected strollers immediately, and contact Baby Jogger at (877) 506-2213 or through Babyjogger.com for a free frame replacement.
