Spring just arrived yesterday, but Beyonce’s already heating up for summer! Her new ad campaign for H&M hit the Internet today and it’s smokin’ hot.
It looks like being a busy mama is keeping Beyonce in very good shape! In the ad, the mom of 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy relaxes on a beach with a flower in her hair, wearing super short shorts, a sleeveless button down, and black pumps.
The shoes might not be great for walking on the sandy beaches of the Bahamas where the campaign was shot, but we’re sure the production crew figured out something for the 31-year-old singer and wife of hip-hop mogul Jay-Z. “It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial,” she said.
The pop star diva, who found her footing in the fashion world with her own line, Deréon, also said, “I’ve always like H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements — fire, water, earth, and wind.”
Beyonce was far more than just a model for the campaign — she actually worked with the in-house design team at H&M to help create wearable pieces for the summer line. But just in case you need more than Beyonce’s gorgeous face and H&M’s cool clothes to sell you on the collection, the company is donating 25% of sales of specific items to H&M for Water. So far, the initiative with WaterAid has raised more than $4 million.
