Shaving Cream for Grass Stains
If your child loves to slide into third, then you may have fought the good fight against grass stains — and lost. Well it turns out that foamy shaving cream will cut through grass stains easily. Just apply the foam, let it dry, then wash like usual! Who knew?

White Wine for Red Wine Stains
In a case of ying-yang symbiosis, you can blast through a red wine stain with none other than white wine. So the next time you spill a little merlot, stay zen by popping open a bottle of chablis.

Saliva for Blood Stains
OK — so this one is kinda gross. But it’s not like you’re going to wear stained clothes anyway, so feel free to spit all over them! Saliva has a special enzyme that breaks down blood on contact, allowing it to come right out in the wash. (And it’s free!)
