Connie Britton Says Her Son Confused Her For Beyonce

In a case of mistaken identity that we’d accept in a hot minute, Connie Britton’s 2-year-old son Yoby confused his own mommy for Beyoncé. After placing her own MORE magazine cover next to Beyoncé’s GQ spread, Yoby pointed at Beyoncé and said, “Mommy,” Connie told People.

Hmm, let’s see... Amazing body? Check. Gorgeous face? Check. Sex-kitten hair? Check. Maybe the two look more alike than we thought!

Regardless, the American Horror Story actress took her own son’s mix-up as a compliment, joking, “I was like, ‘That’s my boy.’” Maybe what he was confusing mom with is Beyoncé’s song, “Single Ladies.” After all, Connie is a single mom.

Following the death of her father, Connie decided to go ahead and begin a family of her own. She adopted Yoby from Ethiopia and soon after moved to Tennessee to shoot her hit show Nashville. She admits that being a single mom hasn’t been easy, but she says it’s all been worthwhile, of course.
 
“Being a single mom is challenging, but never in a million years would that have stopped me,” Connie says in the March issue of MOREmagazine. “You get an idea in your head and you’re going to do it.” 

Just like her accidental twin Beyoncé, Connie is one determined lady!
