Move over Black Friday, Cyber Monday’s coming to town. After $1.25 billion in holiday sales on Cyber Monday in 2011, Mashable reports that 75% of us will be shopping online again this year. Don’t get us wrong, we’re not totally over the in-store shopping experience (we’d never give up our favorite cardio), but on Cyber Monday, we’ll be in front of our keyboards, going to town on deals and discounts.

Worried about getting caught up in Cyber Monday mania? Check out our tips and tricks that’ll keep you sane while you shop.

Scope the Deals. Comparing prices before you go in for the buy is just smart consumerism. What’s even smarter than that? Knowing how much the items on your must-buy list really cost before Cyber Monday so you know if you’re getting a good deal or not. And speaking of lists…

Make a List, Check it Twice. Take it from the fat man in the red suit: Make a list. Don’t get sidetracked by Cyber Monday emails that offer you deals on crap you don’t need. You’d be sorry to see the cashmere slippers on your list for Granny are gone because of your online dilly-dallying…she’d be so ashamed of you, slowpoke.

Pull the Trigger. According to the The Huffington Post, if you wait too long deciding which black leather watch to buy dad, one of the millions out in cyberspace may snatch up the one you want before you can say, “What the what?” Go into the game with a plan because when Cyber Monday hits, you need to make decisions fast. Just because you can’t see your competition, doesn’t mean they’re not out there buying up a storm!
