The Dream On Me company has two recalls in effect for products posing a serious risk to infants.

The first is the Dream On Me Baby Bath Seat, which the Consumer Product Safety Commision says doesn’t meet federal safety standards. According to the CPSC, “The bath seats can tip over, posing a risk of drowning to babies.” In addition to the near-drowning of a 12-month-old girl, five other incidents have been reported involving the faulty seats. Parents returning the bath seat will receive a replacement bathtub that meets federal standards. For more information on the specifics of the voluntary recall, head to the CPSC’s full description of the recall.

The second recall is the Dream on Me Bed Rail. The CPSC says “The bed rail can separate from the mattress allowing a child's body to become trapped. (This also poses suffocation and strangulation hazards to children.)” Parents returning the bed rail will receive a full refund. For more information, like model numbers and contact information, see the CPSC’s official recall report.
