The Office star Jenna Fischer, 38, is making us all look bad. In an interview on The Jeff Probst Show, she admitted to loving motherhood — all parts, all the time.
“When I went into it I thought, ‘Okay, I bet it’s going to be really great 70 percent of the time, and then 30 percent of the time, you just have to get through it,” says Jenna, mom to 16-month-old Weston Lee. But she goes on to say that she’s found she was wrong. “I love it 100 percent of the time. I honestly do.”
Jenna admits that while she’d love to get more sleep, she doesn’t necessarily need more than she gets. Jenna isn’t saying she couldn’t use some more shut-eye — she’s just saying she can function on the little sleep she gets as a toddler’s mommy.
We’re totally psyched for Jenna, but are curious what she’ll say when we check back in with her — say, perhaps, during the terrible twos?
We have to admit, after living through such things as extreme temper tantrums and a 24-hour stomach bug with uncontrollable vomiting and explosive diapers, our percentage of “motherhood greatness” varies depending upon the day!
