Apparently cake and party hats aren’t edgy enough for New York mom Judy Viger. Instead of hosting your run-of-the-mill bowling party to celebrate her son’s 16th birthday, she upped the inappropriate factor by allegedly hiring strippers to entertain for his son and his friends, reports the Associated Press.

Now, seeing beautiful women take their clothes off and grind against them might be every 16-year-old boy’s dream come true, but it’s just wrong. So wrong that mom Judy Viger, 33, was arrested by the South Glens Falls Police on Monday and charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child. What’s worse is that there were kids as young as 13 enjoying the, um, entertainment.

The strippers hired to perform at the bowling alley surprise party were from a company called Tops in Bottoms, and one of the company’s employees claims that the incident was “blown out of proportion.” We’re not sure how it could be blown out of proportion unless the strippers, who say they didn’t know partygoers were underage, were actually hired to do innocent magic tricks or make balloon animals. But let’s be honest, they probably weren’t!

What would you do if your teenage child attended a birthday party that had strippers performing for guests?
