Real talk, ladies. Who doesn’t adore Adele? Basically, she’s irresistible, as bajillions of record sales prove.
Now the British ingenue who took the world by their heartstrings is also the topic of a brand new book, Adele: The Biography. USA Today reports several exclusive excerpts that give us an inside peek into her down-to-earth background — and she’s as grounded and real as her soul-soaked songs.
In addition to giving her own mother props for giving up college to have Adele, the songstress opens up in the book about her weight. Adele, a new mom herself, says, "I read a comment on YouTube that I thought would upset me 'Test pilot for pies' — but I've always been a size 14-16 and been fine with it. I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn't."
And it shouldn’t! We love that a woman who reflects the actual size of an actual human woman is standing up loud and proud about her body. But boasting the quality of her sex life, too? Um, we’ll have what Adele’s having — kthanks!
