Some women will do anything to look good, and we’re no exception. So when we saw photos of mommy-to-be Kim Kardashian with blood smeared on her face, we wanted to know why she’d do that. As it turns out, Kimmy was just getting a good old-fashioned blood facial.

Say, what?!

Yep, that’s what we said too until we found out that the Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star’s blood facial, a.k.a. the vampire facial, is a real rejuvenating treatment. Dr. Sam Lam, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, told the Huffington Post that the facial aims to “reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while improving the skin’s tone and texture.”
