When you ponder whether to act on something or not, do you ask yourself, “What would Blake Shelton do?” You just might, according to a recent survey by Repucom’s Celebrity DBI via USA Today. Repucom conducted a survey of 1,000 folks, ages 13-75, in order to measure consumer perception of the music stars who are up for awards at the 56th Grammy Awards this Sunday.
Blake is among the most influential of the nominees, along with Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry. Interestingly enough, Blake is also considered to be a top trendsetter, tied with Bruno Mars. Perhaps the winningest coach from The Voice should be doing the Super Bowl halftime show with Bruno (we don’t need those stinking Chili Peppers!).
Country music stars fared well overall in the poll. Stars including Blake, Darius Rucker, Tim McGraw, and Blake’s wife, Miranda Lambert, were considered the most trustworthy. If Blake’s career ever starts to fizzle, he could go into used car sales, so there’s that.
What is it about Blake that makes him so trustworthy? Is it those dimples? Adam Levine may have been on to something when he warned singers this past season not to look at the them, as they are so adorable.
“Don't look at the dimples! Do not make direct eye contact!” Adam joked at the time.
Then again, it was Adam’s girl, Tessanne Chin, who took the crown, so could Blake really be that influential?
What do you think of these results? Do you consider Blake to be influential and trustworthy? Sound off in the comments!
