Farrah Abraham Named Google’s Most Searched Reality TV Star of 2013

Teen Mom's Farrah Abraham can add yet another title to her ever-growing resume: Most Searched Reality TV Star of 2013 per Google Trends, beating out late Bachelor star Gia Allemand, Honey Boo Boo, and even Kim Kardashian. Nice work, F!

But wait, a closer look at Farrah's search history reveals that she peaked the week of May 5, 2013. Hmm, what else happened the week of May 5, 2013? Oh, right! That's when Farrah's debut amaterur porn flick, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, broke the internet (and our hearts). Coincidence much?

Farrah Superstar went live on Vivid Entertainment's website on May 6, amassing more than 2 million views within the first 12 hours — crushing Kim K's previously held record of 600,000 views in the same time frame. Not surprisingly, the keywords most associated with the former Teen Mom star were "Farrah Abraham video" and "Farrah Abraham tape," and the majority of her traffic came from Omaha, Nebraska, which is just nextdoor to her hometown of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

After the hype surrounding Farrah's sex tape fizzled, so did her search interest — by July, her 15 minutes of internet fame was pretty much over.

These days, Farrah's working diligently to maintain her social media presence, tweeting daily to her 800K+ followers, recording Keek videos, and updating her Facebook page. And while she'll continue to have a presence in those circles, she most likely won't have another Google spike — unless she opens the (back)door yet again on her illustrious film career.

Are you surprised that Farrah Abraham was the most searched reality celeb in 2013? Tell us your thoughts below, Teen Mom fans!
