It's a Wonderful Life has been a Christmas classic for over half a century. Every year, James Stewart, Donna Reed, and the rest of the classic actors come to life again on TVs around the world, as families gather together to remember that it is, indeed, a wonderful life. But while the faces we see on screen are the same age every year, in real life many members of the cast have passed away. However, the youngest Bailey child is alive and well — at the age of 73!

That's right. The little girl we all know as Zuzu was played by actress Karolyn Grimes, who recently spoke to CBS about her own relationship to the classic flick — and its possible sequel!

It turns out Karolyn didn't actually get around to watching the movie, which came out in 1946, until 1980. "I just never sat down and watched the film," she explained. It wasn't until It's a Wonderful Life started picking up steam and reporters came knocking at her door that she finally checked it out.

The verdict? "[Director] Frank Capra is a genius."

These days, Karolyn likes to spend time with her friends and family, and also spends time promoting It's a Wonderful Life. And, oh yeah, she's set to appear as an angel in the potential sequel , which Karolyn claims will hit theaters in 2015 (though Paramount has said otherwise).
