Get ready to see a lot more blue-skinned, feline-faced, tail-connecting humanoids running through the forests of Pandora — Avatar will be officially be a quadrilogy, with Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington reprising their parts for three more movies.

The first film — which told the story of a team of human scientists who protect a foreign planet and its native population against militaristic minors — made quite a splash in 2009, winning three Academy Awards, $2 billion in global box office, and a fair share of controversy over its racial and political themes.

Now, a press release from director James Cameron confirms that Zoe and Sam have signed on the dotted line to reprise their roles as Neytiri and Jake Sully for three sequels, which will be filmed back-to-back and then released over the course of three years — in December 2016, December 2017, and December 2018.

"Jake Sully is a rare combination of passion, strength, street smarts and soul, which requires a lot from an actor. Sam brought to the role a combination of sensitivity, vulnerability and strength," James raves. "Zoe captured every aspect of the character I envisioned, bringing to Neytiri a mix of delicacy, fierceness and incredible physicality. I am beyond pleased they'll be returning with us to Pandora."

Sam and Zoe, we bet you're rolling in the money now! Time to go buy another house... or seven.
