After the success of 2012 a cappella comedy Pitch Perfect — due in no small part to Rebel Wilson's performance as Fat Amy — it seems like a tall order for Pitch Perfect 2 to be even funnier. But having Fat Amy date Drake sounds like a good start!
Rebel teased the potential on-screen romance during an impromptu interview with TMZ.
A photographer for the site spotted her as she was getting into her car recently and asked if she would be as upset as Drake seems to be if Rolling Stone preempted a cover story on her with one about Philip Seymour Hoffman.
The 28-year-old Aussie — who seems nice and perhaps even shy in the video — said that she wouldn't, but added that Drake may be her love interest in Pitch Perfect 2. (She also said that she's very excited that Elizabeth Banks is directing the sequel!)
It's not the actress's first time discussing Drake — she treated reporters to a performance of his hit song "Started From the Bottom" during a recent Q&A with Cosmopolitan.
And, lest you forget, the Canadian rapper is also an actor — having gotten his start on Degrassi: The Next Generation and recently appearing in Anchorman 2.
