We all know Iggy Azalea is "fancy," but now she's "fast" and "furious," too! The Australian rapper has joined the cast of Fast & Furious 7, taking a small role in the latest installment of the high-octane franchise.
It was actually Furious stalwart Vin Diesel who broke the news, when a SkyockFM reporter asked the actor whose music would get him dancing.
"Well, Iggy Azalea," Vin responded. "I just worked with her two weeks ago. I guess you'll be the first person that knows this — we [cast] her in Fast & Furious 7. She has a cameo in Fast & Furious 7."
The 24-year-old Aussie isn't the first musician to appear in the Furious series: Bow Wow, Ja Rule, Rita Ora, Ludacris, and Tyrese Gibson have all had roles of varying sizes over the course of the first six films.
Fast & Furious 7 is speeding toward a release date of April 3, 2015.
Returning stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Elsa Pataky, Lucas Black, and the late Paul Walker are back for this chapter — with Djimon Hounsou, Jason Statham, Ronda Rousey, Tony Jaa, and Kurt Russell joining the cast.
