If there’s one thing we learned from the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards last night (August 24), it’s that this is Beyoncé’s world, and we’re just living in it. The 32-year-old diva took the stage for a 16-minute medley of her latest hits — but the world was paying just as much attention to Queen Bey’s 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, while her mommy shook her booty on stage.

But was having Blue Ivy and Jay Z give Beyoncé the Video Vanguard award at the close of the show a bit forced? Wetpaint Entertainment asked Viggle LIVE! users this exact question during last night’s telecast. How did you vote? Read on to find out!

A whopping 70 percent of those who voted believe that it was a cool surprise to have Bey’s family take the stage for the award presentation, while only 30 percent are sipping on the haterade and think the moment was too forced.

Regardless, Beyoncé and Jay Z not only took their adorable tot to her first awards show but they also tried to quash all of the divorce rumors by sharing a kiss and uniting their family on the world’s stage.

Do you think Jay Z and Blue Ivy taking the stage was too much or totally adorable? Hit the comments and sound off!
