MTV’s Big Tips Texas: First Look at the Wild New Reality Show (VIDEO)

We’ve all seen Coyote Ugly, right ladies? Well, how many times during that movie did you turn to your Piper Perabo lookalike best friend and say, “Let’s go shopping, Jersey!” Apparently, you’re not alone, because MTV’s newest reality show, Big Tips Texas has a definite “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” undertone going on.

The show, which premieres October 9, “documents the lives of a group of fun-loving girlfriends serving up southern hospitality at a popular Texas watering hole while hoping to make their dreams a reality.” At Texas bar Redneck Heaven, the clothes are small but the drama is huge.

So, just who are the folks pouring “and calling the shots” at this place? Some hot, hot ladies, that’s who.

According to MTV’s press release, The eclectic group of women includes four veterans and six new girls. Sabrina, a gifted student working to save money to go back to college and eventually Harvard Law School; Amber, the girl who knows her way around the bar but comes at odds with the other staff; Typhani, the boss; and Claire, the bar’s top bartender, are amongst those who have earned their stripes. The newbies include Kristyn, an ambitious waitress who has dreams of climbing the establishment’s corporate ladder and starting her own clothing line; Morgan, a rodeo princess; Mimi, one of the new girls who ruffles a few feathers; Jillian, the Chicago transplant; Macy, the biggest little Texan of them all; and Mercedez, known as the sassy Southern server.”

Based on the show’s preview, it looks like it’s going to be a ridiculous, awesome time. We’ll be watching — check out the clip and then tell us before if you’re planning to tune in.
