Mumford & Sons may be known for their unique brand of folksy rock, but that doesn’t mean their tunes are appreciated everywhere.
TMZ reports that the members of the band were booted from an Atlanta strip club on Tuesday after deciding that some of the club’s cardinal rules didn’t apply to them.
The band, still riding high after playing a huge show at the southern city’s Centennial Olympic Park, decided to check out the talent at the Clermont Lounge strip club for some karaoke and tasteful nudity.
However, the guys soon tired of looking at the pretty ladies on the stage and decided to document each others’ performances with their phones, breaking one of the biggest strip club rules: no recording allowed.
When the guys were asked by staffers to stop taping their act, they refused and got rude (as rude as a bunch of British guys in suspenders can) — cursing and refusing to harmonize — so the staff gave them the boot.
So far, their management team has not commented on the incident.
