Is Miley Cyrus Collaborating With Ariana Grande?

What happens with Disney princesses combine forces? Only the most magical glitter superstorm of talent imaginable, of course. Just think of the TV gold Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez struck on Barney and they weren’t even full-fledged members of the Mickey Mouse Club for Millionaires yet.

Now we’ve heard reigning queen of pop sensation Miley Cyrus wants to brainstorm with up-and-comer, Ariana Grande.

Why did I wake up and immediately write a song for @ArianaGrande ... In the shower,” Miley tweeted October 11.

Ariana quickly responded: “Omg @MileyCyrus I’m dying I want to hear… And you’re coming over when I get back from London. We’re neighbors after all… there’s no option.” New besties alert?

These two performers actually have more in common than it might seem. Both love their fans, and constantly stay in touch with them with tons of social media-ing. They’ve dated within their industry (Miley and her recently ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth; Ariana and her new arm candy, The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes). Plus, both girls know the Biebs!

The pair of 20-year-olds also just released new music: Ariana’s Yours Truly at the end of August and Miley’s Bangerz in early October. The tone of the two albums may seem to be on polar ends of the musical spectrum — Ariana’s bubbly “Pink Champagne” opposed to, say, Miley and Britney Spears’s electric collaboration on “S&M (Bangerz)” — but they say opposites attract right?

What do you think? Would a Miley and Ariana pairing be amazing or should they stick to their own things? Sound off in the comments below.
