Thought Rihanna and Eminem’s last video was crazy? Lighting a house on fire is nothing compared to the duo’s latest collaboration for their single “The Monster” from the rapper’s latest project, The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

Clocking in at just over five minutes, the final product is more a short film than a music video. It begins with RiRi and Mr. Mathers sitting in a badly lit living room where Eminem watches his past work flash by on a slightly broken TV while Rihanna watches Eminem. A clock ticks ominously in the background while a metronome swings and Rihanna takes notes like Eminem’s personal shrink.

“I’m friends with the monster that’s under my bed,” she begins singing. Cue the scenes of Eminem writhing in a straitjacket trapped in an old-school elevator, and falling through space. RiRi looks fierce in an odd olive green one-piece paired with a sweet leather jacket and midnight blue lips.

Eventually Eminem’s elevator ride through his career stops and lets him off at a trashed compound where two heavily suited, heavily armed  guards stand outside a cage. Here be the monster and you’ll never guess who’s locked up.
