Robin Thicke and Tamar Braxton may have had an extremely successful 2013 with his single “Blurred Lines” becoming a Billboard hit, and Tamar’s album Love & War hitting no. 1 on iTunes. And now, the two vocalists are combining their awesome powers to give us a swoon-worthy track just in time for Valentine’s Day! Robin debuted their new duet, “For the Rest of My Life,” on Atlanta’s V103 on February 12 and we’re definitely in love!

The two 2014 Grammy nominees worked on remixing the song, which was originally featured on his 2013 album, Blurred Lines. The new version of the song has our former “doo wop pop pop” singer crooning the first verse, which is then followed by Robin’s falsetto verse and then the two join in a sultry chorus filled with some of Tamar’s vocal acrobatics (which we’ve come to know and love).

And guys? The song gets better as you continue to listen to it! We think that the Love & War singer definitely gives the record, which Robin penned about his wife, Paula Patton, an added ‘umph’ with her feminine touch. Don’t believe us? Check out the song below and tell us what you think.

If you ask us, this track just might give Mariah Carey’s V-day romance track, “You’re Mine,” a run for its heart-shaped candies!
