Brace yourselves, because we could have a new celebrity feud on our hands! MTV reports that British songstress Lily Allen’s upcoming album is going to be titled Sheezus. Is this a playful dig at Kanye West’s latest album, Yeezus, or is she throwing some major shade?

Lily announced the news on BBC One’s The Graham Norton Show on the episode airs tonight (February 21) in the UK. “It’s a confident title choice and a little nod to Kanye West,” Lily tells Graham. We’ll have to agree that, if nothing else, Lily’s choice is confident.

Unfortunately, Kanye hasn’t spoken out about the semi-shade-throwing action yet, but we know he won’t hold back on sharing how he feels. Kanye is always outspoken, and if he sees this as threatening to his “genius,” it won’t be long before he goes on a tirade against the Brit.

We love that Lily went for such a provocative title, as this lady is never one to back down from getting her artistic voice across. Recently she’s had to defend herself against accusations of racism for her music video accompaniment of “Hard Out Here,” but her career has been riddled her going against the grain.

That being said, the 28-year-old singer just released an epic retro lyric video for her new song, “L8 CMMR,” which is featured on the soundtrack for HBO’s Girls.

What do you think about Lily’s possible album title? Is it an innocent nudge or some major shade? Hit the comments and sound off.
