Lorde is kind of over getting told to throw her hands up in the air… and being Photoshopped by magazines.

After calling out a Photoshop job on some performance pics earlier this month, Lorde’s dealing with it all over again now that her Teen Vogue cover has been officially announced. Lorde’s look on the magazine is totally different — she looks way more natural, and her signature dark lip is nowhere to be found — but if you check out her nose in one of the photos, it’s not quite the one Lorde was born with.

We didn’t notice, but the “Royals” singer sure did… and mentioned it while tweeting out some of her favorite photos from the shoot, which she otherwise absolutely loved.

“Apart from the fact that I’m pretty sure this magazine gave me a new nose (:|), I really like this photo,” Lorde tweeted on Wednesday.

We love that Lorde has always been so open about her flaws — remember her acne cream pic? Considering the fact that she’s quickly become a role model despite the fact that she’s 17-years-old herself, it’s an awesome thing that Lorde is so insistent on the idea that flaws are okay.

And no hard feelings toward Teen Vogue, either. Lorde’s thrilled to have been featured in the mag.

“So happy about this,” Lorde tweeted on April 15. “Teen Vogue cover star yaaaaaw.”
