It's a time of mixed emotions for fans of girl group Danity Kane. One of its four remaining members, Aundrea Fimbres, has announced that she recently got engaged but is sadly quitting the group.
The 30-year-old Aundrea made the announcement onstage during Danity Kane's kickoff performance in San Francisco for their #DKNoFilter U.S. Tour. "I just recently got engaged," Aundrea told the crowd. "Two dreams of mine have been to be a singer and be on stage like this and to have a family. In a couple of months, that's all about to come true. I'm going to get married…"
Then, Aundrea got to the disappointing news. "I've gotten to do some amazing things with Danity Kane, but it's time for me to start the next chapter in my life," she said tearfully. "So I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart... I love you so much. And I just wanted you guys to know from me."
Aundrea assured the crowd that Danity Kane's remaining members — Aubrey O'Day, Dawn Richard, and Shannon Bex — would continue on with the group that was created in 2005 with MTV's Making the Band. "They are going to kill it for you," Aundrea added. "While I go and have some babies!" Danity Kane split up back in 2009 but reunited at last August's MTV VMAs, although D. Woods was not a part of the reunion.
Aundrea has not yet gone public with the identity of her fiance, but we wish the two of them all the best.
