Miranda Lambert's girl crush on Carrie Underwood just revved up a notch. The American Idol winner collaborated with Miranda on her new song "Somethin' Bad," so Miranda gave Carrie a new way to look badass herself.
“Well, it’s not every day @mirandalambert buys you a motorcycle!" Carrie tweeted on Sunday, May 25, when sharing the photo shown below. "Next stop, motorcycle driving lessons!!! #RansTheBest."
Lucky Carrie! But doesn't she look right at home on that thing? Love her don’t mess with me expression. And now she has a new toy to play with, just in time for a Memorial Day drive (although not if she doesn't know how to ride one...).
Miranda's fifth album, Platinum, will drop June 3. In March, the country star talked to People about her nerves in asking Carrie to sing with her on "Somethin' Bad."
"To me, this is such a big deal that Carrie and I are singing together," Miranda said. "It took me forever to write the email to ask her, like I was writing to someone I had a crush on and you don't want to mess it up." Miranda said it took a week for Carrie to get back to her, and she was telling her husband Blake Shelton, "'She hates me, she hates the song, she's never going to talk to me again, she's probably going to change her email address!'" But Carrie finally wrote back and said "'I think it's awesome, let's do it!' "
Miranda said the song is a good mesh of their styles, and she joked that she hoped Carrie would "come to the dark side and we can explode something on video! I want the 'Before He Cheats' Carrie!"
Well, a hot motorcycle is a good first step on that. Go do somethin' else bad, ladies!
