Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Puerto Rican princess Joseline Hernandez constantly talks about working on her music career and becoming the next big thing in the rap and reggaeton game. However, it seems that quite a few people think that she should think twice before unleashing her vocal stylings on the masses — particularly radio host and Breakfast Club host, Charlamagne Tha God.
In the 4 minute segment, Charlamagne gives a serious tongue lashing to Joseline, who he’s known for calling a transgendered man or “Josh E. Lin.” “The Puerto Rican prince gotta chill B. Bad enough every time you talk we need subtitles to understand, but you had the nerve to put out a distorted record?” Charlamagne jests. And it doesn’t end there. He goes on to tell Joseline, “Don’t go chasing Billboard charts. Stick to the strip clubs and reality TV shows that you’re used to,” and gives Joseline’s husband, former Bad Boy Records Grammy Award-winning producer, Stevie J., some lip service too.
“And Stevie J., you’re getting some of this ‘ee-aw’ too, because you fell off dog. Your ears are shot. You need to hang up your production hat forever.” Charlamagne went on to list the countless hits Stevie produced, including (but not limited to) Mariah Carey’s “Honey,” Notorious B.I.G.’s “Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems,” and “I’ll Be Missing You” for P. Diddy, but says now Stevie is producing “garbage” — even if he really didn’t produce it.
“You can leave rap alone, the game don’t need you,” Charlamagne said to Joseline, adding “just continue to be one of Cruella de Vil aka Mona Scott Young’s 101 Dalmations.”
While Joseline hasn’t clapped back at Charlamagne’s verbal onslaught, the rapper did take to Instagram with a photo of her face making a priceless expression with the caption, “This how much I worry about what they say bout me.”
