My, how time flies! It seems like just yesterday that a then-six-year-old Hailie Mathers was featured on her dad Eminem's hit 2002 tune "My Dad's Gone Crazy." Now, Hailie has graduated from high school — and her dad attended the exciting ceremony!
On June 8, Hailie graduated from Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Michigan. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, meaning she earned at least a 3.9 GPA, and received an Academic Excellence Award.
In the school's newsletter, Hailie praised her parents, mom Kim and dad Eminem, as "the most influential" people in her lives. Hailie wrote: "My mother and father are because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have."
Hailie is headed to Michigan State University to study psychology or business. At high school, she was involved in the National Honor Society, Art Club, Student Council, and volleyball.
Hailie posted a pic (above) to Twitter of herself in her cap and gown at the ceremony. "Graduation," she simply captioned it.
It's great to see that Hailie is doing so well despite growing up with a father who's in the public eye. She was crowned homecoming queen in the fall.
Are you surprised by how Hailie looks now? And what do you think of her plans for the future?
