Talk about a bulletproof romance! Pop star Sia Furler married filmmaker Erik Anders Lang this weekend after a brief engagement.
Radar Online reports that Sia, 38, and Erik — who worked as a field producer for the TV series Ax Men — tied the knot at her home in Palm Springs, Calif. Famous photographer Terry Richardson was onhand to shoot the nuptials. Sia and Erik's engagement was rather brief, as their engagement news was confirmed in June 2014.
"Omg omg I'm so excited," Sia adorably tweeted on the day of the wedding. So cute!
Sia is having quite a moment lately. The Australian singer-songwriter's comeback album, 1000 Forms of Fear, was released last month, hitting number one on the Billboard chart. This is her first album in four years. Lead single "Chandelier" peaked at number nine on the charts, marking Sia's first-ever top-10 U.S. single as a lead artist.
She has also had an enormously successful career as a songwriter, having written such hits as David Guetta's "Titanium," Rihanna's "Diamonds," and Glee star Lea Michele's "Cannonball." Sia also wrote "If You Say So" with Lea, which is named for the final four words that Cory Monteith said to Lea before he died. Sia previously dated JD Samson of electro-punk band Le Tigre.
We wish all the best to the happy couple!
