Bow Wow Changes His Name — But He’ll Always Be Lil Bow Wow To Us (VIDEO)

Bow Wow has officially dropped his hip-hop moniker. It’s the end of an era! The artist formerly known as Lil Bow Wow would now like fans to call him by his legal name, Shad Moss.

After dropping the “Lil” in 2002, the rapper decided to do away with his stage name altogether on June 29 because he’s a “businessman” now. We’ve watched the 27-year-old grow up in the spotlight, and while this switch officially puts an end to our 90s childhoods, we’re happy to see Shad begin his next chapter.

Aside from his hosting gig on BET’s 106 & Park, Shad also just dropped his new single, “Ya Heard.” We love when our childhood crushes turn their teenage fame into adulthood success!
