Michael Douglas's Reported Ex Found Dead in Suspected Murder
Michael Douglas's life has seen the lion's share of drama these past few years — between his son's drug conviction, his tongue cancer, and his breakup with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones — and now there's a new source of stress. A woman to whom he'd once been engaged — according to a Page Six source — was found dead in her Aspen home on February 26, and the authorities suspect she was murdered.
The 57-year-old's body was discovered in the closet of her home on February 26, and cops have arrested the couple that was staying in her house while she was vacationing in Australia: William Francis Styler III, 65, and wife Nancy, 62.
Nancy referred to problems with tenants in a Facebook post not long before she flew back to Aspen on February 22. "I'd like to stay in Australia, but the people that were supposedly taking care of my house are not doing what they said they would do, and they're not paying rent, and they haven't paid utilities," she wrote, per Daily Mail.
A source tells Page Six that Nancy was a friend to many Hollywood celebs who hit the slopes: "She'd been one of the golden girls of Aspen, seriously into the party scene [in her youth] … She hung out with the Kennedys, Jack Nicholson, Cher…"
Here's wishing Nancy's friends and family solace and answers.
