Naomi Campbell Says She Used to Be Infertile, Now Wants Kids!

Naomi Campbell may be turning 44 this May but don’t count her out of the mommy game just yet. Turns out this supermodel wants to be a super mom, too!

I do want to have children, whether I have a man or not,” the recently single Naomi told fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg during a SirusXM Radio Town Hall on March 11 (via E! News). Naomi split from her boyfriend, Russian billionaire Vladimir Doronin, last spring but tells Diane (and the world) that she won’t be waiting for a new romance to have a child. “I will have it on my own,” she said.

Unfortunately, Naomi’s road to having children hasn’t been an easy one. As she revealed back in September 2008, she was previously infertile until undergoing surgery.

“They thought it was a cyst. When they opened it up, they realized it was more,” she told Britain’s Press Association of a procedure she had done in Brazil earlier that year. “I was not able to have children up until March [2008]. Now it’s in God’s hands. I would love to have a family.”

And if we know anything about this famous fashionista, it’s that what she wants, she gets!
