Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista Split With Billionaire Boyfriends: Reports
Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista are reportedly back on the dating market — so, if you have at least a billion dollars, ask them out!
Fair warning: Naomi is apparently not very happy after her recent split. Hell hath no fury like a supermodel scorned, and it sounds like she was scorned by Russian billionaire Vladimir Doronin, who was spotted with model Luo Zilin in Ibiza last week.
Making matters worse, Luo is an aspiring model who was mentored by Naomi — even on Team Naomi — on her TV show The Face. Luo, 25, was recently fired by her Chinese modeling agency for "unprofessional conduct." Sources told Page Six that Naomi, 43, has been trying to stop Lou's career because she's dating her ex-boyfriend. However, other sources close to Naomi said she's totally focused on the British version of The Face and had nothing to do with Luo being fired. "This isn’t easy for Naomi," the source said. "This relationship seems almost designed to hurt her. She is trying hard to keep a brave face and not to think about it."
Meanwhile, Page Six says Linda Evangelista — who once joked that she doesn't wake up for less than $10,000 a day — has reportedly split with her Hard Rock billionaire boyfriend Peter Morton. They broke up once before, in 2010, and got back together, so it's possible that will happen again.
They have an interesting story. When they started dating in 2006, she was pregnant with François-Henri Pinault's child. (The French mogul is now married to Salma Hayek.) Linda, now 48, and François-Henri had a major child-custody battle, which was only settled in May 2012, and Linda reportedly got something close to $50,000 a month in child support for their son, Augustin James.
Not every guy would be willing to go through all that, but Peter was apparently there for her. But he's about 20 years older than her and apparently they were based on opposites coasts, so... sounds like some lifestyle issues at work.
Anyway, Linda and Naomi can both be divas, but a breakup is never fun — especially when you're literally replaced by a younger model. Ouch.
